Explore the Twin Cities with Micah and Jenna

It is often said that Minneapolis has the clubs and Saint Paul has the pubs. Which does about sum it up. Even though they are widely known as the inseparable Twin Cities, Minneapolis and Saint Paul are anything but identical and have their own unique character.

That’s why travel bloggers Micah and Jenna never get bored of coming back home. Their blog Wander The Map keeps them on the road most of the year, but the two returned to their hometowns especially for iFly. Micah and Jenna take you to their favourite places downtown and the largest shopping centre in the US: Mall of America.

Mill City on the Mississippi

The futuristic Weisman Art Museum designed by Frank Gehry and the edgy warehouses in North Loop are only two of the many diverse architectural highlights Minneapolis has to offer. The city’s industrial character stems from the 19th century when Minneapolis was at the heart of the American milling industry – hence the nickname ‘Mill City’. Travel back in time at the Mill City Museum which is located in the oldest flour mill of Minneapolis, or visit the nearby hyper-modern Guthrie Theater, a more recent landmark on the Minneapolis skyline.
